Our team of highly skilled veterinarians and support staff are passionate about providing the best possible care to patients.
What we are looking for: Motivated individuals who love animals and are excited to continue in the field – or get started! Over the years we have welcomed and departed with hundreds of Veterinary Students some of which have started with no veterinary/animal care experience. Veterinary/animal care experience is a plus, but not required – we are happy to train the right person. Our ideal candidate is an energetic team-player who’s eager to learn more about veterinary medicine.
Kennel Technician Roles and Responsibilities:
Feeding and Hydration
Exercise and Socialization
Health Monitoring
Facility maintenance; cleaning and sanitation, waste management
Assistance to veterinary staff; handling and restraint, record keeping
Client Interaction; check in and out, client education
Skills and Qualifications:
Experience: Previous experience working with animals, preferably in a veterinary or kennel setting.
Knowledge: Basic understanding of animal behavior, nutrition, and healthcare.
Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and restraining animals.
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with colleagues and pet owners.
Attention to Detail: Ability to observe and report on the condition and behavior of animals accurately.
Compassion: Genuine love for animals and commitment to their well-being.

Schedule: Very flexible; we will work with your schedule during the work week, and can accommodate full- or part-time (20-40 hours per week). This position will require weekend shifts.
