Dog Kennel Technician duties include, but are not limited to:
Cleaning and Sanitizing dog kennels
Exercising, socializing and medicating dogs as needed.
Facilitating meet and greets with potential families.
Learning personalities of the dogs and promoting them on social media.
Overseeing volunteers
Assist in interior and exterior spot cleaning along with food and donation organization.
Assist in other duties as necessary.
Requirements:
Must be 18 years old or older.
Prior experience with animals is recommended.
Must be comfortable working with animals, volunteers, and members of the community.
Able to lift 40 pounds or more
Work without direct supervision and in a complimentary way with other technicians and volunteers.
Use a detail-oriented approach to ensure all tasks are completed by the end of shift.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $12.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
Schedule:
Day shift
Rotating weekends
