Summary
We are seeking a Kennel Assistant to join our team at Sandy Creek Pet Resor. This role is essential in ensuring the well-being of pets during boarding and grooming sessions and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will be passionate about animal care and eager to support our operations.
Responsibilities
Assist in the safe handling and restraint of pets during procedures.
Provide basic care for animals, including feeding, bathing, and exercising.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grooming, kennel and farm areas and equipment.
Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pets’ needs and services provided.
Support groomers with various tasks as needed to ensure smooth operations.
Monitor the health and behavior of animals in our care.
Requirements
Experience in animal handling or a related field is preferred.
Strong understanding of pet care practices and animal behavior.
Excellent customer service skills to interact positively with clients.
Ability to lift heavy animals when necessary.
Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $13.00 – $14.00 per hour
