Kennel & Daycare Attendant / Customer Service Representative
Schedule: Wednesday–Saturday, 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Location: Alta Vista Daycare, Boarding and Grooming
We are looking for a reliable, energetic, and compassionate team member to join our team. This role position includes hands-on care for pets in our facility and front-line customer service for their owners. Animal Care & Daycare:
Provide daily care, feeding, cleaning, and enrichment for boarding and daycare pets.
Supervise and manage group play sessions, ensuring pets interact safely and appropriately.
Monitor pets for signs of stress, illness, or behavioral concerns and report as needed.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kennels, play areas, and facility grounds.
Customer Service:
Greet and assist clients during drop-off and pick-up.
Answer phones, schedule appointments, and manage check-in/check-out procedures.
Communicate clearly and kindly with pet owners about services and their pet’s stay.
Requirements:
Reliable and punctual with consistent availability Wednesday through Saturday, 10 AM – 7 PM. During this shift there is a 30-minute unpaid lunch.
Previous experience in animal care, pet daycare, and customer service is required.
Confidence and attentiveness when supervising dog playgroupsof various breeds and sizes.
Ability to multitask in a busy, dynamic environment.
Strong communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude.
Comfortable working on your feet, lifting up to 50 lbs, and handling pets of all sizes.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 – $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36 – 40 per week
