OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Kennel Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the care and well-being of animals in our facility. You will ensure that all pets receive the attention, exercise, and care they need while maintaining a clean and safe environment. This position is ideal for individuals who have a passion for animal care and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. MUST HAVE VALID DRIVER’S LICENSE!!ResponsibilitiesProvide daily care for animals, including feeding, grooming, and exercising.Maintain cleanliness of kennels and common areas to ensure a safe environment for pets.Monitor the health and behavior of animals, reporting any concerns to management or veterinary staff.Assist with dog training sessions as needed, promoting positive behavior and socialization.Engage with pet owners, providing excellent customer service and addressing any questions or concerns.Administer medications as directed by veterinary staff.Support pet grooming services when required.Ensure all safety protocols are followed during animal handling and care.QualificationsPrevious experience in animal handling or pet care is preferred.Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners.Knowledge of dog training techniques is a plus.Familiarity with kennel operations or veterinary technician experience is advantageous.Ability to work well in a team environment while also being self-motivated.Physical stamina to handle the demands of the job, including lifting and moving animals as needed.A genuine love for animals and commitment to their well-being.Join us in providing exceptional care for our furry friends!You and Your Dog, LLC in Oconomowoc, WI is looking for reliable and trustworthy kennel staff for 6:30-6pm weekdays and weekends.Schedule will be Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday. Off days will be Sunday, Monday, Tuesday.
