Kennel Attendant PART-TIME POSITION Jobs in Alexandria, VA at Fort Hunt Animal Hospital
Our busy, private veterinary practice with boarding facility needs a few dedicated, caring individuals to help care for the pets left under our supervision. Primarily dogs and cats but sometimes we care for exotic pets such as rabbits, guinea pigs, birds, and others. This is an entry-level position, no experience is necessary. Qualified candidates must love animals, be able to work unsupervised, and be trustworthy, dependable, and punctual. It’s a messy but rewarding job! Learn basic animal restraint, medication administration, grooming, and overall animal care.
Must have weekend availability. Please include your availability according to the following shift schedule:
AM shift hours: 7am until about 12:30pm
PM shift hours: 4pm until about 7:30pm
Shifts are every day of the week, very flexible; you must be available for at least 2-3 shifts per week. Preferably looking for candidates to fill a MORNING position . Open availability on weekends is preferred.
Must be 16 years of age or older.
