Kennel Attendant and Customer Service Representative Jobs in Whitehall Township, PA at Colonial Kennels
At Colonial Kennels we are looking for applicants who are interested in a career working with animals, such as a Vet or Vet Tech, the healthcare industry in general or those who have a passion to care for animals.
Our kennel gives you hands-on experience not only with cleaning and feeding, but the skills needed when supervising dog playgroups. Here, we emphasize the importance of observation, attention to detail, teamwork, communication, being receptive to constructive feedback as you develop your skills and most important, being responsible for the well-being of the animals in our care.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Must be 16+
- Participating in Day to Day Kennel Operations
- Communicating With Clients Via Phone or Email
- Adhering to All Company Protocols and Kennel Regulations
- Being Part of a Team to Create a Safe and Pleasant Environment
- Administering Medications and Food as Needed
- Helping to Put Together Playgroups With Senior Staff Members
- Keeping the Kennel and Surrounding Areas Clean
Applicants must be able to stand or sit for long periods of time, as well as be able to lift at least 50 pounds. Communications Skills ARE A MUST as we work as a team to ensure a safe and pleasant work environment!
Hourly may vary depending on work experience.
Shift starts:
Opening Shift:
- Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays & Saturdays at 7 AM
- Wednesdays 8 AM
- Sunday at 8:00 AM
Closing Shift: Starts at 3 PM Monday thru Sunday
Ending time of shifts varies depending on completion of care of dogs and tasks.
Weekend and Holiday Availability Required
Applicants with volunteering experience at an animal shelter or prior kennel experience is required.
Veterinary experience is a plus!
