Now Hiring: Weekend Kennel Attendant
We are looking for a dependable and compassionate Weekend Kennel Attendant to join our team. Animal care experience is required. The ideal candidate is comfortable handling dogs and cats of all sizes and temperaments and enjoys working in a fast-paced animal care environment.
Responsibilities
- Feeding and caring for boarding animals
- Cleaning kennels, cages, and common areas
- Walking dogs and monitoring pet behavior
- Administering basic care instructions
- Safely handling animals during boarding and bathing services
- Monitoring for signs of illness or stress
- Providing excellent care and attention to all pets
Qualifications
- Previous experience in animal care, kennel work, veterinary clinics, grooming, or boarding facilities preferred
- Comfortable handling dogs and cats of all sizes
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to work weekends and holidays as needed
- Ability to lift 40+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Schedule
- Weekend/Holiday availability required
- Part-time position
