We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Kennel Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care for animals in our facility, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. This role requires a love for animals, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Provide daily care for dogs and other animals, including feeding and exercising.
Maintain cleanliness of kennels and play areas by performing regular cleaning tasks.
Monitor the health and behavior of animals, reporting any concerns as needed.
Ensure that all animals receive proper socialization and interaction throughout the day.
Maintain accurate records of animal care activities and any observed changes in behavior or health.
Skills
A background in pet sitting or pet care services is beneficial.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
