Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Kennel Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care and possess relevant experience in pet care or veterinary settings.
Duties:
– Provide daily care for animals including feeding, watering, and exercising
– Assist with animal restraint and handling during examinations and procedures
– Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kennels and common areas
– Monitor animal behavior and health, reporting any concerns to the veterinary staff
– Assist with grooming tasks such as bathing and brushing
Experience:
– MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE in pet care, veterinary assistance, or related field is preferred
– Knowledge of animal handling techniques
– Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary
– Familiarity with pet sitting or grooming is a plus
