Kennel Attendant / Daycare Assistant
Toureen Pet Resort & Spa is seeking a dependable, hardworking Kennel Attendant to care for boarding pets and assist in dog daycare as needed.
Responsibilities
- Feed pets and provide fresh water, clean bedding, and toys.
- Walk dogs and safely move pets throughout the facility.
- Clean and disinfect kennels, bowls, floors, and play areas.
- Monitor pets for changes in health or behavior and report concerns.
- Follow all feeding, medication, and special-care instructions.
- Complete laundry, dishes, trash removal, and general cleaning.
- Supervise daycare groups and monitor dogs for safe play.
- Remove waste, refill water, and check play areas for hazards.
- Help introduce new dogs and separate dogs when necessary.
Qualifications
- Dependable, punctual, and able to follow instructions.
- Comfortable handling dogs of all sizes and temperaments.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Previous animal-care experience is helpful but not required.
Requirements
- Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors.
- Weekend and holiday availability is required.
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
