We’re hiring! Our ideal candidate is someone who has a love of animals, but more importantly the desire to help owners know that their pets are receiving the best care possible while they’re away. In the kennel, you’ll be cleaning and disinfecting, feeding and medicating the pets and best of all, getting to play with them out in the yard. We are currently looking for someone who would like to work full time with weekend and holiday availability required. This job is physically demanding but highly rewarding! Specific Duties:
– Handling dogs and cats of all breeds, ages, temperaments and sizes
– Feeding, walking and medicating dogs
– Feeding and medicating cats
– Exercising dogs in playgroups
– Daily cleaning of kennels, floors, outdoor runs and common areas
– Prepping kennels for arriving animals
– Checking in a pet for boarding and listening to care instructions
– Checking a pet out for boarding and giving a report on their stay
– Ensures that play yards and kennels are safe for animals
