Full Job Description
Looking for self-motivated, team oriented candidate who isn’t afraid to get dirty and is an animal lover. Dog savvy applicants preferred.
Must have reliable transportation.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Must be comfortable working with animals
Job responsibilities include: humanely caring for and treating animals housed at the facility (i.e. laundry, dishes, sweeping and mopping), feeding and maintaining habitats/enclosures/kennels, monitoring animals for signs of illness, injury and signs of physical or mental distress, ensure supplies are full and notify management when items are needed. This position will require the candidate to act as a liason to our adoption team members, therefore some basic knowledge of recognizing behavioral issues and ability to provide basic positive reinforcement training is preferred.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $13.00 – $14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 per week
