Kennel Attendant Jobs in Pittsburg, KS at Broadway Animal Hospital
Broadway Animal Hospital is seeking a part-time kennel attendant. Our fast-paced small animal hospital includes bathing and boarding facilities and often has medical boarders. This position will include alternating weekends and will mainly be a split-shift of 15-20 hours per week.
Job Duties Include:
- Watering/feeding/walking boarding animals
- Cleaning – kennels, building, and grounds
- Medication administration including pills/liquids/insulin, etc.
- Bathing animals
Job Requirements:
- Ability to bend, squat, and lift 40 pounds
- Reliable transportation
- Must not be fearful of dogs and cats – proper training on handling and reading pets will be provided
- Weekend availability (on a rotating basis)
