Kennel Attendant Jobs in Hardeeville, SC at Raskel’s Rescue
“`Duties“`
– Provide daily care for animals in the kennel, including feeding, watering, and exercising
– Clean kennels and maintain a clean and sanitary environment for the animals
– Administer medications as directed by veterinary staff
– Assist with grooming tasks such as bathing and brushing
– Monitor the health and behavior of animals and report any concerns to the veterinary staff
– Assist with basic veterinary procedures under the supervision of veterinary staff
– Provide customer service to pet owners, including answering questions and providing updates on their pets

– Previous experience working with animals, such as pet grooming, veterinary assistant, or veterinary technician, is preferred
– Knowledge of dog training techniques is a plus
– Strong customer service skills to interact with pet owners in a professional and friendly manner
– Ability to handle animals safely and confidently, including dogs of various sizes and temperaments
– Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and strenuous activities related to animal care
– Experience with pet sitting or working in a kennel environment is beneficial
