Buck Creek Veterinary Clinic is currently seeking a reliable and compassionate Part-Time Kennel Attendant to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining the health, safety, and comfort of the animals in our care. Ideal candidates must be dependable, comfortable working around animals, and able to work independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities:
Clean and disinfect kennels, runs, and other areas
Feed and provide fresh water to animals
Exercise and interact with dogs and cats
Observe and report any signs of illness or behavioral changes
Assist with laundry, dishes, and general facility cleanliness
Follow safety and handling protocols for all animals
Provide excellent care and attention to each pet
Requirements:
Must be available to work both AM and PM shifts, weekends, and rotating holidays
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform physical tasks
Previous experience with animals preferred but not required
Schedule & Hours:
Variable hours: 8–16 hours per week
Rotating weekend and holiday schedule
Shifts include morning and evening hours
