Responsibilities:
Handle general care tasks such as feeding and grooming of the animals
Assist in restraining animals for veterinary team
Keep records of animal feedings, treatments, and other updates
Engage in play activities and exercise with the animals
Maintain a clean and healthy environment
Qualifications:
Previous experience in animal care or other related fields preferred
Passion to help and treat animals
Ability to interact with animals in a calm, non-threatening manner
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
The hours for this position are: Monday-Friday 3:00pm-6:00pm & every other weekend (Roughly 7am-9am & 3pm-5pm both Saturday & Sunday). This job will also be a ‘float’ position, utilizing your skills in other areas of the hospital, training in both reception & veterinary assistant positions, however the main responsibility will be in the kennel.
