Downtown Doggie is excited to meet you! The recently renovated facility is ready for you to come and join us. We pride ourselves on taking care of all things dog related, whether it be daycare, training, or even bathing and nail trims! We love dogs as much as their owners do. Downtown doggie has been around for 11+ years, and we are continuing to grow! We hope you are as passionate about dogs as we are!
We are looking for a dog Kennel Attendant/ Dog handler who can help supervise our daycare and boarding dogs throughout the day. The job involves interacting with dogs to help them get plenty of exercise, socialization, and love. The goal is that they go home truly tired and happy. There will also be plenty of opportunities for customer interaction. The most qualified candidates will have the following characteristics:
First and foremost, you must have a passion for dogs. It’s what we’re all about.
Professional experience in working with dogs is preferred. However, if you are truly passionate about dogs, possess a strong work ethic, and are committed to learning how to provide high quality care, we encourage you to apply. Relevant experience could be from a dog boarding business, veterinary office, rescue organization, breeder, professional dog walking company, training business, or animal-related educational program.
