No experience necessary- we will train!
hours are 9am to 5-5:15pm Must be willing to work at least every other Saturday/Sunday.
Job Overview:
Join our team as a Kennel Assistant where you will play a vital role in the care and well-being of our furry friends. As a Kennel Assistant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care to animals, assisting with daily operations, and ensuring a clean and safe environment for all pets.
Duties:
– Provide daily care for animals including feeding, watering, and exercising
– Clean and sanitize kennels, cages, and common areas
– Monitor the health and behavior of animals and report any concerns to the kennel manager
– Assist with bathing, grooming, and administering medications to animals as needed
– Interact with pet owners, providing excellent customer service and addressing any inquiries or requests
– Assist with basic animal handling and restraint techniques
– Perform heavy lifting tasks as required
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $12.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 30 per week
