Ridgetowne Animal Clinic is looking for a compassionate, dependable Part-Time Kennel Technician to join our team!
Our greatest need is for Tuesdays and Thursdays, plus rotating weekends, making this a great opportunity for someone looking for a consistent part-time schedule. If you’re interested in additional hours, there may be opportunities to pick up extra shifts while remaining part-time.
Position: Kennel Assistant
Location: Ridgetowne Animal Clinic, Ridgeland, MS
Schedule: Full-time. Rotating weekends and holidays.
Pay: $11-$13 per hour based on experience.
Responsibilities:
- Animal Care: Walking dogs, cleaning kennels, feeding, mopping, scooping poop, laundry and providing compassionate care for all dogs and cats.
- Bathing: Bathing dogs to keep them clean, healthy and happy.
- Hospital Maintenance: Ensuring cleanliness and organization of the hospital.
- Support: Assisting doctors and veterinary technicians/assistants as needed.
Requirements:
- Passion for working with animals and a commitment to their well-being.
- Ability to lift pets & objects up to 40 pounds.
- Available to work a rotating weekend schedule and some holidays.
- Must be reliable and dependable.
- Previous kennel assistant experience is preferred but not required.
- Must be 18 years or older.
