About us
Bellevue Animal Clinic is a full service small animal veterinary hospital with boarding services.
Responsibilities:
– Assist with the daily care and well-being of dogs and cats in the kennel
– Feed, water, and exercise dogs according to their individual needs
– Clean and sanitize kennels, including bedding and toys
– Monitor the health and behavior of dogs and cats, reporting any concerns to the supervisor
– Assist with bathing and brushing dogs and cats as needed
-Maintain accurate records of each dog’s or cats feeding, exercise, and health
Qualifications:
– Previous experience working with dogs and cats in a professional or volunteer capacity is preferred
– Knowledge of dog and cat behavior and basic training techniques is a plus
– Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments safely and confidently
– Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
– Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
– Physical stamina to handle the demands of the job, including lifting heavy objects and being on your feet for extended periods
