Responsibilities: – Provide daily care for animals in the kennel, including feeding, watering, and exercising
– Clean and sanitize kennel areas and equipment to maintain a safe and healthy environment – Assist with grooming tasks such as bathing, brushing, and nail trimming
– Administer medications as directed by veterinary staff
– Monitor the behavior and health of animals and report any concerns to the supervisor
– Assist with animal restraint during veterinary procedures or examinations
– Provide excellent customer service to pet owners, answering questions and addressing concerns
Qualifications:
– Previous experience in animal care or a related field is preferred
– Knowledge of basic animal care techniques and best practices
– Strong communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with pet owners
– Ability to work effectively in a team environment
– Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately
