Hours will be 4 – 10 hours shifts Sunday-Friday 8-6PM“`Duties“`- Handle and restrain animals during examinations and treatments.- Administer medications and vaccinations as directed.- Prepare and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment- Clean and maintain, kennels, and surgical areas- Provide post-operative care and monitor animals during recovery- Clinic operations are Sunday-Friday and Sundays will be required.- Daily animal care.-Must be able to lift 50 pounds-Requires being on your feet all day.“`Experience“`- Previous experience as a kennel tech or in a related field preferred but not required- Ability to handle animals with care and compassion- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately- Excellent communication skills to interact with veterinarians, colleagues, and pet ownersNote: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
