Rancho West Animal Hospital is in search for a motivated and dedicated Kennel Technician, not only someone who loves animals but someone who pays attention to detail and is eager to work.
Shifts Available Monday 9-6pm
Saturdays 9-2pm
Possibility of some Sundays and holidays in future
Must be able to work weekends and holidays to be considered.
May be exposed to unpleasant odors, and noises.
Cleans and sanitizes all cages, runs, wards and related areas.
Maintains safe, secure, healthy and humane environment by sterilizing and wrapping instruments; sanitizing and disinfecting holding and operating areas.
Gives baths (ordinary cleansing, flea, medicated) may be necessary to the treatment and constant cleanliness of each animal.
Releases animals to their owners and insures that every animal released is clean.
The employee is often required to lift and carry animals weighing thirty pounds or more
Assists doctors, nurses, and other personnel with the administration of medications or with restraint.
AviMark experience is a plus.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.00 – $18.00 per hour
