Overview
You must have a genuine love for animals and a strong commitment to providing exceptional care. Your role is ensuring the health and well-being of the dogs & cats by maintaining a clean and safe environment. This position requires physical stamina (getting on hands & knees to clean cages, bending over, lifting items), attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively alone or with staff.
Responsibilities
Provide daily care for animals, including feeding, watering, and taking dogs out for bathroom breaks.
Maintain cleanliness in kennels and the rest of the clinic by performing regular cleaning duties.
Monitor the health and behavior of animals, reporting any concerns to senior staff or veterinarians.
Assist in heavy lifting tasks related to animal care supplies or equipment as needed.
Keep up on laundry.
Experience
Previous experience in animal care or handling is preferred.
Experience in a kennel environment is a plus.
Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely is essential for this position.
