“`Duties“` – Provide daily care for animals including feeding, watering, and exercising – Clean and sanitize kennels, cages, and animal holding areas – Monitor the health and behavior of animals and report any concerns to the veterinary staff – Assist with bathing, grooming, and nail trimming of pets – Administer medications as directed by veterinary staff – Interact with pet owners and provide excellent customer service – Assist in restraining animals for medical procedures “`Requirements“` – Previous experience in a veterinary clinic or animal care facility is preferred – Knowledge of basic animal care and handling techniques – Ability to work well in a team environment – Strong communication skills with both pet owners and veterinary staff – Willingness to learn and follow directions from veterinary technicians and veterinarians
