Sky Lake Veterinary Hospital, part of the Suveto network of hospitals, is looking for an experienced full-time Kennel Assistant to join our Team! We are proud to serve the Miami, FL area for everything pet related.

Our Kennel Assistants are directly responsible for the well-being of all patients housed in the boarding facility. Kennel Assistants are tasked with proactively maintaining a clean and safe boarding environment, as well as monitoring the demeanor of all of the patients.
This is a full-time position, and Saturdays are required.
Essential Job Functions:
MONITORING all boarders indoors and in the play yard.
Working with a large group of dogs
Working with cats
Constantly walking and interacting with dogs
MAINTAINING A SAFE ENVIRONMENT!
Provide excellent customer service.
Keeping the facility clean and maintained.
Record keeping, checking in and out dogs and cats.
Kennel Assistants must be active and attentive at all times.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
At least one year’s experience working in a dog daycare facility is preferred.
Knowledge of appropriate facility cleaning protocols and the repercussions of not following such protocols.
Must be friendly, organized and customer service driven.
Must have the ability to work in an extremely fast-paced work environment.
Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
Must have a passion for animal welfare.
