We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Kennel Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care for animals in our facility. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal welfare and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. As a Kennel Assistant, you will ensure that all pets are well cared for, comfortable, and safe during their stay.
Responsibilities
Provide daily care for animals, including feeding, grooming, and exercising dogs.
Maintain cleanliness of kennels and common areas to ensure a hygienic environment.
Participate in training sessions for new staff on animal handling and care protocols.
Requirements
Ability to lift a 40 pound bag of dog food.
Works well under pressure, and handling multiple tasks efficiently.
Ability to recognize an issue and respond effectively.
Works well indoors and outdoors.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $12.00 – $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
