Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Kennel Assistant. Ideal candidates will have a passion for animal care and welfare, providing support in a kennel/farm environment. This role involves working closely with dogs, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being while maintaining a clean and organized facility.
Duties
Provide daily care for dogs, including feeding, watering, bathing/brushing and exercising dogs.
Maintain cleanliness of kennels, play areas, and common spaces to ensure a hygienic environment.
Monitor the health and behavior of the dogs, reporting any concerns to management.
Use appropriate commands for the dogs as needed, reinforcing positive behaviors and commands.
Collaborate with management to ensure all animals receive proper care and attention throughout the day.
Requirements
Experience in dog handling or working in a kennel environment is preferred but not mandatory.
Knowledge of dog handling techniques and animal restraint methods is advantageous.
Reliable transportation to and from the job On a consistent basis.
A genuine love for animals and commitment to their welfare is essential.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays if necessary.

7am-11am (4hour shift)
3pm-7pm (4hour shift)
7days a week
