Trude’s Dog Motel is looking for a full-time Kennel Assistant

Examples of Work:
Provide daily care for canine Motel guests: walking, feeding, and maintaining motel cleanliness and safety.
Communicate with current and potential clients via telephone and in-person. Book pet stays using KennelConnect software.
Call other veterinary clinics to obtain client records and vaccine information for dogs staying at the motel.
Generate and finalize invoices, collect various types of payment from clients.
Prepare daily sales totals and report to kennel owners.
Requirements:
High school diploma and at least one year of experience with animal care (other boarding environments, grooming, veterinary clinics, etc.) required. Must be able to lift 40+ pounds and walk through runs and grass yard to exercise dogs and clean.
Compensation:
Pay starts at $15/hour, commensurate with experience.
Hours:
Full-time hours available, flexible scheduling between shifts between the kennel hours (M-F 7am-7pm, Sat 8am-12pm and evening for dog care, Sunday morning and 4pm-5pm for dog care).
