Kennel Assistant Jobs in Knox, ME at Wildwind Kennels
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate part-time Dog Kennel Assistant to join our team. The primary responsibilities include:
– Cleaning and maintaining kennel areas
– Feeding, grooming, and caring for the dogs and other animals on the property
– Monitoring the health and behavior of the dogs
– Interacting with dogs maintaining behavior and training
– Assisting with basic animal husbandry tasks
– Interacting with owners and clients of the kennel
**Qualifications:**
– Previous experience with animal husbandry is a plus but not required
– Strong love and passion for dogs
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
– Good physical stamina and ability to perform manual tasks
– Ability to work independently with confidence

– Payrate starting at $15 per hour depending upon experience and increases with performance.
