Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Junior Store Manager role based in KG Mall. The Junior Store Manager supports the Store Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations, including supervising front-of-house and kitchen staff, managing shifts, and ensuring consistent service standards. Responsibilities include monitoring food quality, hygiene, and safety procedures, handling customer queries and complaints, and promoting a friendly, efficient guest experience. The role also involves assisting with cash handling, stock control, and basic reporting to help reduce losses and improve store performance. The Junior Store Manager is expected to lead by example, coach team members, and contribute to a motivated, high-performing team.

Qualifications

  • Strong customer-focused skills, including Customer Satisfaction and Customer Service, with the ability to handle queries and resolve issues professionally.
  • Excellent Communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with customers, team members, and management.
  • Basic Store Management experience or exposure, with an understanding of daily restaurant or retail operations and team supervision.
  • Awareness of Retail Loss Prevention practices, including accurate cash handling, stock control, and adherence to company policies.
  • Previous experience in retail or quick-service restaurants is preferred.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays, as required by store operations.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Matric or equivalent qualification; further training in retail or hospitality management is an advantage.
