As the most recent attraction within Dubai Holding Entertainment, Dubai Parks and Resorts is the Middle East’s largest multi-themed leisure and entertainment destination comprising of three separate theme parks: MOTIONGATE Dubai, LEGOLAND Dubai and LEGOLAND Water Park.
Job Overview:
An opportunity has arisen for a to join as a Junior Biologist in Green Planet. The main duties and responsibilities of this role:
Represent The Green Planet and Dubai Holding Entertainment in a professional and engaging manner, providing a warm, informative experience for guests while supporting brand values and
guest satisfaction
goals.
Maintain animal exhibits to the highest cleanliness and presentation standards, ensuring all animals are properly fed, cared for, and enriched daily, in coordination with the Biologists.
Support Biologists with medical care, LSS monitoring, aquarium cleaning, animal projects, and exhibit modifications to maintain animal health and habitat quality.
Engage in guest interactions and animal encounters, enhancing the educational experience while ensuring animal and guest safety.
Maintain accurate records of animal care and observations, submit daily reports, and assist with inventory, staff coordination, and operational logistics.
Contribute to the improvement of animal welfare scores, support
innovation
in animal care and exhibit design, and take part in
training and development
to enhance personal and professional skills.
About youThe ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:2+ years of relevant experience in animal care, aquariums, or zoological facilities.
Strong guest service orientation with a friendly, professional demeanor, and the ability to promote The Green Planet & Dubai Holding Entertainment brand effectively.
Hands-on experience
in daily Curatorial and Life Support Systems (LSS) operations, with knowledge of safety procedures, maintenance, and report preparation.
Excellent
communication
and listening skills to respond to guest feedback, with a flexible and proactive approach to learning and adapting in a
dynamic environment
.
