Minimum *
Must be currently enrolled in an accredited Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent program.
Academic **3rd or 4th-year veterinary student in good academic standing.
* Ability to commit to the agreed-upon externship duration (typically 2–6 weeks).
Interest and *Strong interest in small animal veterinary medicine, including general practice, surgery, and diagnostics. Willingness to engage in hands-on clinical practice under supervision.
* Demonstrates strong communication and teamwork skills. Commitment to upholding ethical and professional standards in patient care and client interactions.
Legal ** Ability to provide documentation of university externship requirements, if applicable.
Technical Skills (Preferred): Basic knowledge of animal anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology. Familiarity with standard veterinary tools and procedures.
