Irrigation Operative and Farm Worker
The business is seeking to appoint an experienced Irrigation Operative and Farm Worker to join our small farms team.
This is a full time role, where you will join a small farming team producing vegetables and arable crops. Candidates will be required to perform irrigation work to assist with production, but jobs may include cultivations, crop establishment, mechanical weeding,
equipment maintenance
and repairs.
Our equipment comprises of
modern
Briggs reels and booms, and a fleet of John Deere agri-vehicles which are serviced regularly, as well as an onsite workshop to carry out daily repairs.
Responsibilities and skills required:
* Knowledge of irrigation systems and techniques
* Understanding of crop water requirements
* Be able to work individually or as a team
* Be an excellent communicator
* Be organised and methodical with paperwork
* Full driving licence
