Role Description The Internet Sales Representative is a full-time, on-site role based in Dodoma. This role involves identifying prospective customers, presenting internet and connectivity solutions, and managing the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals. The representative will respond to inquiries, prepare quotations, follow up on leads, and maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities. Daily tasks include building and maintaining relationships with clients, providing product demonstrations, collaborating with technical teams to ensure service delivery, and meeting or exceeding sales targets. The role also requires staying updated on Kinetic Networks’ offerings and market trends to provide informed recommendations and a high standard of customer service.
Qualifications
- Strong sales and negotiation skills, including lead generation, opportunity qualification, and closing techniques.
- Customer service and relationship management skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, handle inquiries, and resolve issues professionally.
- Basic understanding of internet services, networking concepts, and telecommunications products (e.g., fiber, routers, Wi-Fi, CCTV) to explain solutions to customers.
- Proficiency in using office software, CRM tools, and digital communication platforms to track sales activities and maintain customer records.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in local languages is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Dodoma, manage time effectively, and meet set performance targets.
- Prior experience in sales, telecommunications, or ICT services is preferred but not strictly required.
- Certificate, diploma, or degree in Business, Marketing, ICT, or a related field is an added advantage.
