The Internal Audit Officer will support the internal audit function by assisting in data extraction and documentation, working with SAP, Excel, and Power BI under the guidance of senior audit staff to help ensure sound controls and operational efficiency across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the team in executing audit assignments in line with the approved audit plan.
- Perform day-to-day testing of internal controls, financial processes, and compliance procedures as directed.
- Prepare and maintain Excel-based working papers and reconciliations, and update and maintain Power BI dashboards to track audit status, action plans, and follow-up items.
- Draft sections of audit reports and working notes summarizing observations and findings for review by senior auditors.
- Track and follow up on the implementation status of agreed audit recommendations and corrective action plans.
- Provide administrative and coordination support for audit assignments, including scheduling and documentation management.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- CAF, ACCA (partial), or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; progress toward CA/CIA is a plus
- 1–2 years of experience in internal audit, external audit, or a related risk/compliance function
- Basic working knowledge of SAP (S4 HANA exposure will be preferred)
- Good proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with Power BI
- Good written and verbal communication skills
