About this position:
The Hydro Aide will assist the plant personnel in performing routine grounds maintenance and general labor tasks. They will be assigned to clean-up, painting, mowing, weed cutting, and other duties. The position may be required to operate mowers and other mobile equipment in addition to using a variety of hand tools. This job description is not meant to be all-inclusive and will include other reasonable work expectations as assigned.
This position is temporary through the summer months usually from mid-May until Labor Day.
About this job:
Operate mobile equipment including various types of mowers and grass trimming equipment.
General plant clean-up and organization.
Cleaning and painting equipment and buildings.
Use of hand tools.
Spraying chemicals and other aspects of grounds keeping methods.
Operate and repair sprinklers.
Perform individual lifts and manipulate equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.

Demonstrate and maintain a good safety record.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
Must pass physical test to access all areas of the hydro plants, including climbing ladders, confined and cramped wet slippery quarters, and traveling rough terrain.
