Your work at EGHS can be very rewarding as we work to rescue many unwanted animals that are in need of a loving home.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning and sanitization of kennels, cages, and animal housing areas using appropriate cleaning agents.
- Assist with animal handling and movement during cleaning, ensuring safety for both animals and staff.
- Follow strict safety protocols during all tasks, to protect yourself and the animals.
- Must be committed to your shift and be dependable
- Must have some type of experience in owning or working with cats and dogs.
- Must keep work stations cleaned and supplies re stocked for next day
- Looking for individuals who display positivity in their working attitude and are able to to take direction from a supervisor
Qualifications
- Prior kennel experience is highly desirable; familiarity with animal handling techniques is essential or in owning a pet a dog or cat that shows handling experience
- Ability to handle dogs and cats gently yet confidently while maintaining safety protocols.
