Position Overview:
The Regional HR Business Partner will be a trusted partner for the People & Culture team providing guidance and direction for our veterinary hospitals. This individual will work directly with our veterinary hospitals & Operations Team to support our most important asset, our Team Members. The Regional HRBP will lead the strategic development, Team Member relations, and engagement for a region of hospitals in the CareVet network. They will also collaborate closely with the entire People and Culture team and other groups within CareVet HQ.
Specific Responsibilities:
Partner with our hospitals & Operations team to address talent needs to support business growth including conducting strategic Talent Planning sessions.
Develop a culture of high performance and strong leadership within our hospitals.
Review and help interpret HR issues in alignment with the organization’s mission.
Provide recommendations for the professional development of talent and ensure Team Members continuously learn and grow.
Support Team Member communications.
Research and share trends and direction regarding Team Member issues, continuously improving and enhancing the culture.
Partner closely with Operations Team to drive strategic and operational initiatives.
Drive improvement in key performance metrics, including Team Member Engagement, Internal Mobility, Attrition, Manager Capability, and Diversity & Inclusion.
Manage People & Culture integrations process for region, including introduction meetings, living wage implementation, and new hospital P&C training.
Assist in developing and driving People & Culture related operating mechanisms, including performance management, strategic talent reviews and the employee engagement survey process.
Monitor and respond to Team Member concerns and ensure fair, consistent and effective application of policies and procedures for all associates.
Ensure state and government regulatory compliance adherence.

Key skills and qualifications:
Strong ability to develop relationships and partner with Team Members at all levels
Degree in Human Resources Management or related field
Minimum 3 years’ experience as HR Business Partner
Experience working in a multi-site healthcare organization preferred
Excellent communication skills with the ability to analyze and present information in such a way that it is understood by everyone within the organization
Extremely organized and methodical in approach to problem solving
Multi-tasks and prioritizes independently
Paycor experience highly preferred
Ability to work at a fast pace and triage tasks effectively
Knowledgeable in the legalities of business law in relation to HR and employee employment rights and how to apply them within your day-to-day work, company policy documentation and staff welfare
Willing to work in-office and travel up to 25%
