Job Summary:
The Horticulturist position works on the
diverse
range of activities involved in golf course maintenance, clubhouse landscape, skilled landscape, maintenance work, and performance of related tasks as required.
Day-to-Day:
Operates powered equipment in mowing golf course and clubhouse operations.
Waters, fertilizes, and applies pesticides to clubhouse flower and shrubbery.
Trims trees, prunes shrubbery, and cultivates shrubs and flowers.
Designs and maintains clubhouse, golf course, and commons woody plant materials and flower beds.
Operates and calibrates all spraying equipment needed.
Responsible for Maintenance of Clubhouse Potted Plants.
Responsible for maintaining the greenhouse as well as proper climate control settings.
About You:
2 years of experience working in landscape, greenhouse, or grounds maintenance.
Driver’s License.
Pesticide Applicators License.
A degree in Horticulture is preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent.
