Summary
We are seeking a highly competent Health & Safety Supervisor with a Master's degree and minimum 3 years of safety management experience to support safety operations across the factory. This role is responsible for implementing safety policies, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor health and safety policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments.
- Investigate incidents and prepare detailed reports with corrective actions.
- Deliver safety training and induction programs for staff.
- Ensure compliance with Ghana Labour Act and safety regulations.
- Maintain safety records and documentation.
- Support emergency response planning and drills.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies during inspections.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years experience in safety management, preferably in manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of Ghana safety regulations and international standards.
- Certification in NEBOSH or IOSH is an advantage.
- Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
