Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Head of Strength and Conditioning at Royal Russell School, located in Croydon. The Head of Strength and Conditioning will be responsible for designing and implementing strength and conditioning programs, training and supervising students, coordinating with sports coaches, and ensuring the safety and effectiveness of training sessions. The role also includes monitoring students’ progress, maintaining equipment, and staying updated on the latest strength and conditioning research and practices.
Qualifications
Experience in designing and implementing strength and conditioning programs
Skills in training and supervising students, and working with sports coaches
Knowledge of safety protocols and ensuring the effectiveness of training sessions
Ability to monitor students’ progress and maintain training equipment
Up-to-date with the latest research and practices in strength and conditioning
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Relevant qualifications in sports science, strength and conditioning, or a related field
Previous experience in an educational setting is a plus
