The Company
Globe 24-7 in partnership with a leading Commodity Trading company, is seeking Head of Ground Operations to join their team in DRC.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Execution: Coordinate day-to-day ground operations and ensure priorities, deliveries and export timelines are achieved.
- Accountability & Follow-up: Track commitments, deadlines and responsibilities across teams and sourcing locations.
- Problem Solving: Identify and resolve logistics, documentation, supplier, customer and operational bottlenecks.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Manage communication between Dubai, African outposts, suppliers, logistics partners and government authorities.
- Process & Growth: Improve operating processes and help implement the operating model in new African markets.
Key Requirements
- 3–10 years’ experience in operations, logistics, supply chain, business operations or similar roles.
- Experience in commodity trading, mining & metals, logistics, industrial or international trading, preferably in Central Africa.
- Strong operational discipline, accountability, problem-solving and stakeholder-management skills.
- Comfortable working in rural/remote African environments, travelling frequently.
- Fluent in Hindi is highly desirable; strong digital communication skills and people-management experience are advantageous.
