Role Description The Head of Finance and Administration is a full-time, on-site role based in Islamabad, responsible for overseeing all financial management and administrative operations for Hydrosun Technologies. This role involves leading budgeting, financial planning, cash-flow management, and financial reporting, while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery of financial statements to internal and external stakeholders. The Head of Finance and Administration will design and maintain internal controls, oversee accounting processes, and implement systems to support scalable growth across multiple countries and projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing financial performance, preparing management reports, supporting climate finance initiatives and carbon credit revenue tracking, and partnering with leadership on strategic decisions and capital allocation. The role also manages administrative functions such as vendor and contract oversight, HR and payroll coordination, facilities-related processes, and the implementation of policies and procedures that enable efficient operations.

Qualifications

  • Strong finance and accounting foundation, including Finance and Financial Statements, with the ability to interpret and communicate financial data clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Experience in Financial Reporting and Budgeting, including developing forecasts, managing organizational budgets, and producing accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
  • Advanced Analytical Skills to assess performance, evaluate investment decisions, support climate finance initiatives, and optimize resource allocation across projects and geographies.
  • Demonstrated leadership in managing finance and administration teams, establishing internal controls, and improving processes and systems for growing organizations.
  • Proficiency with ERP or accounting systems and advanced spreadsheet skills; familiarity with project-based accounting and multi-entity or multi-country operations is beneficial.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; a relevant professional certification
