We are looking for an experienced and commercially driven Head of Category (E-Commerce) to lead the Consumer Electronics (GREE & Ecostar) category across our e-commerce business. The role will be responsible for category strategy, P&L, pricing, assortment, vendor management, inventory, and marketplace growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own category P&L, sales targets, pricing, margins, and overall commercial performance.
- Develop and execute category strategies based on consumer trends, market insights, and business objectives.
- Manage product assortment, SKU selection, pricing, promotions, and category rationalization.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with Product, Supply Chain, and Operations teams to ensure product availability.
- Manage key vendors and negotiate pricing, trade terms, rebates, JBPs, and exclusive product opportunities.
- Develop channel-specific SKUs and manage cross-channel pricing and assortment strategies.
- Drive category growth across owned e-commerce platforms and marketplaces.
- Collaborate with Digital Marketing and UI/UX teams to improve product visibility, digital merchandising, SEO, and conversion.
- Manage relationships with marketplaces, fintech, payment, and other digital partners.
- Analyze category performance, competitor activity, and market trends and present actionable insights to management.
- Lead and mentor the category team and ensure achievement of defined KPIs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or a related field; MBA is preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in Category Management, Commercial Strategy, Buying, or E-Commerce.
- Experience in Consumer Electronics and E-Commerce/Omnichannel Retail is strongly preferred.
- Proven experience in P&L management, vendor negotiations, pricing, assortment, and commercial planning.
