Lal Teer Livestock Development (Bangladesh) Limited a concern of Multimode Group is the first Bangladeshi Research and Development (R & D) based “Livestock Breeding Company” in the private sector. From the very inception LTLD has been working for the improvement of Buffalo and Cattle breed throughout the country. Our R&D includes genetic farm (breeding farm), bull stations, fodder bank and modern semen processing laboratory, as well as improvement of feed, animal health and management technique for smallholder animal farmers including women entrepreneurs. The Bull Station is fully equipped with live bull management and semen production and distribution of frozen semen of dairy, beef cattle and buffaloes which is quality certified by ISO (ISO 9001:2015). Job Location: Farm office, Uthura, Bhaluka, Mymensingh.

WORKING CONDITION: The incumbent will be based at the Company`s livestock farm and will be required to travel field locations for operational supervision.

Job Context: The Head of Administration to oversee the overall operations of its livestock farm. The incumbent will be responsible to oversee the farm production, breeding, animal health, nutrition, fodder production, workforce, biosecurity, inventory, and farm assets to ensure efficient, sustainable, and profitable operations. The position requires strong leadership, technical expertise of managerial job, and the ability to implement good management practices while maintaining compliance with company policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.

Job Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, supervise, and manage all farm operations to ensure efficient execution of activities.
  • Develop and implement short-term and long-term operational plans to improve farm productivity, breeding performance, and quality standards in collaboration with the technical personnel.
  • Ensure proper utilization and maintenance of farm equipment, machinery, inventory, and other assets.
  • Co-Ordination with all relevant officer.
  • Ensure proper management of farm operational activities including electrical & mechanical machinery operation.
  • Supervise and evaluate the performance of farm personnel and promote a productive working environment.
  • Participate in the formulation and implementation of company policies, strategies, and operational procedures.
  • Prepare and monitor annual operating and capital expenditure budgets for the farm.
  • Maintain official records, files, and documentation, and submit periodic reports to management.
  • Prepare performance analyses, progress reports, and recommendations for continuous improvement.
