Position: Grounds Maintenance (Trades Specialist III) #2516/2525
Responsible for maintaining the grounds including roadways, sidewalks, and parking surfaces so they are safe, clean, and aesthetically pleasing. This is accomplished by performing all aspects of landscape maintenance and installation, pond maintenance, operation, and preventative maintenance on all equipment used to perform job duties.
- Formal or trades experience directly related to the area of employment.
- Valid South Carolina Driver’s License.
- Preferable degree in horticulture or equivalent education/experience.
- Ability to obtain a South Carolina pesticide license.
- Ability to perform all aspects of landscape and irrigation maintenance and installation.
- Ability to operate all large and small equipment used in landscape maintenance.
- Excellent customer service skills are essential.
