About the Role:

Grounds Maintenance Assistant

Norfolk & Norwich University Hospital – Colney, South Norfolk
Contract Type:
Temporary (3 months)
Start Date:
ASAP – June 2025
Working Pattern:
Full Time – Monday to Friday – 6am to 2pm (Required to work every 3rd weekend)
Hourly Rate: £12.21
What You’ll Do:
As a Grounds Maintenance Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in keeping our hospital gardens, and public spaces looking their best. Your daily tasks will include:
Mowing and maintaining lawns
Pruning plants and shrubs
Weeding flower beds and pathways
Assisting with planting and landscaping projects
Ensuring all equipment is maintained and used safely
