Job Description:
We are currently seeking a Grounds Maintenance Operative for seasonal work at the Islington & St Pancras Cemetery site. This role involves general grounds maintenance duties including strimming, clearing debris, and ensuring the grounds are maintained to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out grounds maintenance tasks, including strimming, mowing, and general upkeep.
Work in varying weather conditions and physically demanding environments.
Ensure cemetery grounds are well-maintained and safe for visitors.
Use strimmers for long periods as part of daily duties.
Manage workload to ensure tasks are completed within set hours.
Requirements:
Physically fit and able to work on uneven grounds.
Previous strimming experience is preferred but not essential.
Ability to handle demanding tasks and maintain a high level of
attention to detail
